I want to thank my good friend Emily for betting me a bottle of wine that the Steelers would lose. Both my boyfriend and my mother missed this game but I told them that honestly the only part worth watching was the fourth quarter. The rest was a snoozefest.

Quick rundown of the game: We always, always come out looking flat, but this week was atrocious. The Ravens scored first after a ten minute long drive. We managed to get a field goal right before the half, making it 7-3. The Ravens completed dominated the first half, more than doubling our time of possession. In the second half the Ravens kicked another field goal, making it 10-3, but at this point the Ravens mistakes were starting to catch up to them. Thus begins the fourth quarter, where we looked like the old Steelers (the good ones). Early on we scored a touchdown but Boswell missed the extra point, making it 10-9 Ravens. Two field goals later and it was 13-12 with a little over seven minutes left in the fourth quarter. After a beautiful touchdown pass to Diontae Johnson and a two point conversion the Steelers got their first lead of the night, making it 20-13 with two minutes left. The Ravens managed to score a touchdown, because it's the Steelers and we can never not have a heart attack while watching. Coach Harbaugh then made the heart-stopping decision to go for two and win it. No overtime for this game. Luckily, our defense stepped up and stopped the two point conversion, giving us the much needed win.

While we did play well in the fourth quarter, I don't really feel like we won this game as much as the Ravens lost this game. Lamar Jackson was sacked seven (SEVEN!) times and threw a costly interception in the end zone.

Thoughts while watching the game:

Minkah Fitzpatrick's interception in the end zone was the one bright spot in a pretty boring first half.

I wish Taco Bell wasn't sponsoring this game because I had just convinced myself not to get Taco Bell delivered when the game started.

At least I have two Ravens on my fantasy team! (Spoiler alert: it didn't help).

Who knew about the rule where if you false start within the last two minutes they take ten seconds off the game clock? Is that new? I've never seen that before.

Not to sound like a typical Steelers fan, but the refs were AWFUL.

Other News from around the League: Once again Antonio Brown reminds us why we traded him. This week news broke that AB faked his vaccine card. I just really can't with this guy. How many second chances does one person need?

Brown was suspended three games. The Buccaneers have not stated yet whether they will part ways with him and safety Mike Edwards, who also "misrepresented" his vaccine status. Supposedly they have both been vaccinated since.

Other Pittsburgh News: The Penguins are on a hot streak! Thanks to Jake Guentzel, who has scored 14 goals since November 1st! Guentzel tallied two goals last night against the league's newest team, the Seattle Kraken. This just two nights after he scored a hat trick against the Vancouver Canucks.

Speaking of last night's game, the Penguins scored three goals in the first five minutes of the game, forcing a goalie change. I must be getting sentimental in my old age because I genuinely cringed for the Kraken after the third goal.

For anyone who missed it, rumors spread again this week that this would be Ben Roethlisberger's last season. I'm not saying it isn't going to happen, but these rumors have spread at this time for the last three years.

Ryan Clark made headlines last week for criticizing the Steelers play over the last few games. After this week's performance Tomlin said "Hopefully we made those Steelers alumni proud tonight with our effort." Clark replied on twitter with one word: "Did."

Also want to give a shout out to this week's best Tweet on Steelers Twitter:
